Order the service

  1. Sign in to the DuoCircle Portal.
  2. Click Services >> Order New Services.
  3. In the Email Services category, select Spam Filtering Gateway.
  4. Enter the domain you want filtered, then make payment.
  5. Go to Services >> My Services and click the new service to open its details.

Copy your custom MX record

Your custom MX record appears in the service details. It has the format a######.mx.mailhop.org.

Set your destination server

The destination server is where we deliver your mail after we filter it. Enter its hostname or IP address in the service details.

Update your MX records

Replace your existing MX records with all four of these:

MX 10  your custom MX record (or mx1.mailhop.org)
MX 20  mx1.mailhop.us
MX 30  mx1.mailhop.co
MX 40  mx1.mailhop.co.uk

Add all four records. They use four top-level domains held at two different DNS providers. If one DNS provider or registry fails, senders can still resolve one of the others. See MX Records with Redundant DNS Providers.

Remove all other MX records. Enter the priority numbers exactly as shown.
